Daniela has been a Hatha and Vinyasa yoga practitioner for 12 years. Four years ago, after being in a yoga retreat in Bali, she reaffirmed that she wanted yoga to be more than just a practice in her life, she wanted it to be her lifestyle; she wanted to inspire and guide others through their practice and journey. Daniela got certified as a yoga instructor in 2019, but she keeps learning and growing everyday as a person and as a teacher. The main element that she brings to her classes is awareness, staying present in what she is doing and staying connected with herself and her students. She offers her students a space to put their worries and stress aside, to enjoy being, and to be present and aware through movement and breath.

What does Your exercise do for you? Outside and Inside?
Yoga connects me deeply with my body, mind and breath. It allows me to move consciously and with control. It improves all flexibility, strength and balance through different asanas and movements. It also provides mental and emotional awareness and connection with the present moment.
Whats your favorite Reggae song? What does it mean to you?
My favorite Reggae song is Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. This song reminds me that despite the situation that I'm going through, everything will be alright in the end, it keeps me positive and inspires me to give my best and to bring joy and positiveness to my day to day life.
What does nature mean to you? How does it inspire you?
Nature is LIFE. Nature inspires me to be present, grounded and at ease, reminding me to get out of my mind and see the big picture, to enjoy what is happening in front of me. It reminds me to be grateful and appreciate the beauty of being alive.
How can exercise make us stronger human beings, better able to connect with others and embrace everyone's right to thrive?
It all starts within. Exercise connects us deeply with ourselves, allowing us to understand our body and mind to build strength from inside out. And when we build that strength and connection with ourselves, it gives us the power to understand, encourage and support others. To feel empathy and love, creating strong connections.
Why is it important for us to connect with other human beings?
Connecting with other humans will keep us inspired and motivated. It will keep us positive and will help us feel supported. Building connections with humanity will keep us alive, will give us joy, empathy and acceptance.
What does the phrase "One World, One Love" mean to you?
It means we are all deeply connected, there's nothing that divides us or separates us. We all share a world and the power of love that unites us, that makes us human.
