Meredith is an ACE certified personal trainer and has been working in the fitness industry for the past several years. She has taught many group classes including dance cardio, hiit, barre, trampoline and cycling. Prior to that she toured internationally as a professional dancer and dance captain. Using her love of music and movement, Meredith creates a positive environment to encourage you to work hard and have fun!

"PJ" has been a Personal Trainer for more than ten years. As the founder and owner of Work Hard. Train Harder. Fitness, LLC, he guides his clients to achieve their maximum fitness capabilities. After leaving Atlanta, where he was born and raised single-handedly by his mother, PJ moved to New York City to pursue a degree in architecture at the New York City Institute of Technology. Though he worked in the field for several years, Paul soon ventured out to pursue his true passion: fitness. He started small, first training friends. Soon after, he began to build his clientele, working with homeschooled children between the ages of 5-12. PJ introduced his students to the many life-nurturing aspects of fitness and encouraged them to overcome their fears by facing them. He also worked with students at a local high school, coaching junior varsity basketball and acting as an advisor to a student mentoring group in Harlem. What PJ enjoys most of all is working closely with people to help them achieve their goals.

Pilar found her love of fitness as a Broadway dancer, during which time she sustained injuries from dancing eight shows per week. Physical therapy led her to appreciate the benefits of keeping the body at its peak through all stages of life. Pilar is a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.), holding group fitness certifications in bodyART, HIIT, and barre formats, and has trained clients from age 19 to age 93. She also holds a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary and has ministered to multi-ethnic, multicultural communities in New York City. She believes strongly in the interconnected nature of physical and mental wellbeing, and is grateful to bring those two together through Bob Marley's message of a world in which universal human rights becomes not just a dream, but a way of life for all.

Sarah is a certified 500-hour Educational Registered Yoga Teacher, a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher and a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist. She has been teaching yoga and meditation in NYC since 2006. Her level-headed, light-hearted approach to the ancient practice of yoga comes through in her instruction, which is filled with clarity, humor and compassion. Sarah brings the practice down to earth, makes it accessible and is passionate about applying yoga mindfulness to everyday life. In her classes, she’ll guide you to find the right balance between effort and ease, discipline and joy.

Jasmine, who identifies as they, is an interdisciplinary artist, director, choreographer, organizer, teaching artist, and a 2021 Bessie-nominated and 2017 Bessie award winning dancer and performer. For ten years, they have developed and shared a variety of solo and ensemble dance theater performances.Jasmine has creatively collaborated with multidisciplinary artists, including Solange Knowles, Alisha B. Wormsley, Vanessa German, and Ayanah Moo. Her collaborations have culminated in performances at events and in places such as the Guggenheim Museum, The Getty Center, Venice Biennale 2019, and the Ford Foundation. They have also had the pleasure of performing premiere and repertory pieces with companies such as Urban Bush Women, David Dorfman Dance, and the August Wilson Dance Ensemble. Jasmine’s practice is rooted in dance, somatic, and vocal traditions influenced by many teachers and mentors, including Claudette Nickens Johnson, Byronné J Hearn, Marjani Forté-Saunders, Marlies Yearby, and Kathryn Leary. Their commitment to dance is as inclusive as it is an expansive practice merging performance, sound conjuring, memory-keeping, and story-telling.

Danny was born and raised in South London, UK, and given his 12+ years living in America, he has a hybrid accent that is frequently mistaken for Australian (he doesn't mind). Danny has been a DJ turned model turned boxer, and he's had success in all three, even reaching number four in the world, according to Forbes. Don't mistake him for a pretty boy, though. He packs a solid punch, especially his left hook. Danny's approach to fitness is fun and inclusive, an approach inspired by the humbling work of running around with his one-year old puppy, Gatsby, who is happiest when giving his all to chasing a ball.

Kathryn embraces her passion, bringing people to a place of wellness and strength, while drawing from her personal connection to globally iconic musician Bob Marley's expressions of love, peace and unity, to enhance a spiritual incantation. Kathryn is a certified yoga instructor who has taught for more than 14 years. She has trained extensively in meditation in the US and India. In developing OneFirelight, she offers soul-nurturing practices to inspire, heal and create the strength to embrace the world as one.

Makayla‘s Pilates journey began when was told that she would never dance again following injuries from a life changing accident. She was determined to dance again, and Pilates made that possible. She completed her 600-hour comprehensive Pilates certification at Balanced Pilates, MELT Method training, and level 1 bodyART certification in New York City. Makayla‘s passion for teaching and injury-prevention following her recovery is evident in her classes and sessions. She encourages students to listen to their bodies, strengthen their core, and develop a practice that feels beautiful for them. When she is not teaching, Makayla loves dancing, playing with her puppy Simba, and going on adventures with her partner, Tyler.

Abigail is a passionate instructor, healer, and sound meditation guide who inspires and empowers others through her unique energy and deep intuition. A gifted sound healer, Abigail brings intuitive knowledge to the body to help others find their physical, mental and energetic balance. Through a profound spiritual connection, Abigail skillfully plays her Tibetan singing bowls, which she earned in her many trainings in Kathmandu, Nepal, to provide comprehensive sound healing therapy.

Saadiq is a NYC-based Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor. He first discovered Pilates while working at the desk of a Pilates studio and quickly fell in love with the fitness form. He eventually decided to make a career out of it, starting off in management and eventually making the transition into teaching. Understanding that the fitness industry can be intimidating for most, it’s important to Saadiq to create a space for all clients to feel comfortable while also challenging themselves. In addition to Pilates, Saadiq is an actor, writer, and filmmaker. His purpose in life is to be of service to others through movement and entertainment while bringing joy into everything he does.

Indy is a trauma-informed mindset, nutrition, and fitness coach based in Austin, Texas. She is passionate about helping people transform from the inside out. Indy's passion for health and wellness stems from her own personal journey of losing 120lbs. Through working with her clients, she realized that fitness and nutrition were less than half of the battle, and the real struggle was in the mind. She has armed herself with tools to make her clients’ transformation sustainable, which means helping them figure out their WHY? Indy brings her values of leading with kindness and compassion to each aspect of her work; in her 1:1 coaching sessions, her Facebook group where she coaches thousands of women around the world, and in her social platforms that she uses to encourage and inspire her followers. When she’s not working out or coaching, she is playing with her dog, Oliver, planning a spontaneous trip to a new country, or riding around Austin on her longboard.

Ami is a yogini who seeks to weave breath and mindfulness into daily life. Ami has been practicing Ashtanga yoga for over 15 years. She completed a 100 hour Ashtanga training with Scott Harig in 2012 after attaining a 200 hour certification in ISHTA Yoga. Workshops with master teachers such as Manju Jois, David Swenson and John Campbell as well as mediation lessons have furthered her study of all eight limbs of Ashtanga. Ami means nectar in Sanskrit. She can help you to find a sweet path to yoga and beyond.

Over the years, Patrick has spent time exploring, moving and breathing in Nature, connecting to her powerful energy, and understanding that movement and breath experiences are significantly enhanced when we establish that connection.

Sydney is a competitive boxer and teaches boxing around the world. Most recently, she has taught in Dubai and parts of Europe, which has broadened her embrace of all cultures. Her style of teaching is equally inclusive: Sydney weaves many different styles of fitness into her boxing class, including stretching and yoga, to create a comprehensive workout experience. Sydney also teaches courses in nutrition and wellness and enjoys creating fun and inspiring music pairings for her classes. One of the many joys Sydney experienced during the making of OneFirelight: While teaching a boxing class via Zoom, a member of our tech team in Madrid took a break from his work to experience one of her classes.

Jen is a New York City-based Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer with more than nine years of experience. She prides herself on being fiercely inclusive, loves to coach HIIT and strength workouts, and believes movement can add unending joy to our lives. Outside of fitness, she loves eating her way through NYC, traveling, and taking as many trips to the ocean as possible.

Jelani Knight has been working in the fitness industry for close to a decade, and most recently has been enjoying coaching group fitness. He is an internationally ranked track standout, and won the M30 national title in the 200m dash in 2021. Jelani began running track in highschool and continued at Temple University, where he graduated with B.S. degree in Kinesiology: Pre-Health Professions. He has been head coach for high school track and field/cross country team for the past three years, and trains with an Olympic developmental club team. Jelani was born in Jamaica, Queens, to parents who are originally from Jamaica, and he dreams of competing internationally for his parents' homeland.

Yui is a fun charismatic fitness coach who loves to help people. The concept she stresses in her training is strengthening your inner core -- your mind, body and spirit. She believes it’s all about staying positive and not giving up. Her philosophy is that "life is a roller coaster, and it can be tough sometimes to keep yourself motivated. But what matters is that you wake up each day with a positive mindset and keep working towards your goals. Always make way for the positive day. And when you do that, the results just follow."
